Definition: A document carrying information necessary to open an order for a test or assessment. Within the context of human resource management, an assessment is a process by which a person (usually in the role of a job seeker, employee, learner, etc.) is tested or evaluated against expectations related to knowledge, skills, abilities, personality, or other characteristics relevant to deployment of such person as a human resource.
