AcknowledgeOrganizationChart is an HR-XML Business Object Document (BOD). Each BOD contains an "Application Area" and a "Data Area." The Data Area contains a Verb and a Noun. For more information on the BOD architecture, see the section called “Business Object Documents”.
The Acknowledge verb is used to acknowledge the application receipt of a Process request. This function conveys the result of the original request. An example of this is Acknowledge PO, where a Process PO has been issued and the corresponding business application acknowledges the receipt of the PO and responds with an acceptance or a counter offer.

Provides a simple, "open model" structure for communicating basic information about an organization, its sub-entities or "organization units," the positions within those units, and the incumbents within those positions. The schema design is "flat" versus recursive in design, but hierarchy and reporting relationships can be expressed. See detailed documentation of OrganizationChart components.
