AcknowledgeSavingsPlanEnrollment is an HR-XML Business Object Document (BOD). Each BOD contains an "Application Area" and a "Data Area." The Data Area contains a Verb and a Noun. For more information on the BOD architecture, see the section called “Business Object Documents”.
The Acknowledge verb is used to acknowledge the application receipt of a Process request. This function conveys the result of the original request. An example of this is Acknowledge PO, where a Process PO has been issued and the corresponding business application acknowledges the receipt of the PO and responds with an acceptance or a counter offer.
Intended to support the communication of enrollment and election information for savings and defined contribution plans, such a 401(k) plans within the U.S. market. See detailed documentation of SavingsPlanEnrollment components.
