Feedback Policy

The HR-XML Consortium (the "Consortium") accepts comments, issues, questions, additions, modifications or any similar communications (collectively referred to as "Feedback") regarding its specifications, technical notes, compliance test suites or any other of its work products ("Works") via this Feedback section and other public forums. By providing Feedback to the Consortium whether through the Feedback section, by sending email, or in any other way communicating with the Consortium, you (on behalf of yourself if you are an individual, and your company if you are providing Feedback on behalf of the company) agree that such Feedback is non-confidential and non-proprietary, and shall forever be the exclusive property of the Consortium. You agree that you hereby assign all rights in such Feedback to the Consortium on a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free basis; and you understand that the Consortium may use, distribute, display, perform, modify, reproduce, publish, prepare derivative works thereof, sublicense, lease and market (directly or indirectly through agents and distributors) and exploit in any manner whatsoever the Feedback in any form and format, and in any media in existence or hereinafter developed. You acknowledge that you have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality with respect to any Feedback you provide.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to provide and assign this Feedback, and if you are providing Feedback on behalf of a company, you represent and warrant that you have the authority and right to provide and assign this Feedback on behalf of your company, under the terms of this Feedback Policy. You also represent and warrant that if you are providing the Feedback as an individual, that the Feedback was originally created by you alone, and no other third party possesses any interest in the Feedback. You also acknowledge that the Consortium is not obligated to review, discuss, use, consider or in any way incorporate your Feedback into future versions of its Works. If the Consortium does incorporate some or all of your Feedback in a future version of any of its Works, you agree that the Consortium may, but is not obligated to include your name (or, if you are identified as acting on behalf of your company, the name of your company) on a list of contributors to such Work. If the foregoing Feedback Policy is not acceptable to you and/or any company on whose behalf you are acting, either do not provide any Feedback, or prior to providing such Feedback, contact info@hr-xml.org to negotiate and mutually agree upon any different terms under which you would provide the Feedback.
